Two Dads, One Child: Julien and Thomas's Story

Married for five years, Julien and Thomas had looked into surrogacy but found the process complex and expensive. "We met Anaïs on CoParentBaby, a woman who wanted to be a present, active mother, but not part of a romantic couple. It clicked instantly."

The three of them built a parenting plan where all three adults are equally involved: Anaïs has the baby during the week, and the couple takes over on weekends and holidays, with daily video calls in between. "People assume it's complicated. It's actually simpler than a lot of traditional families we know."

Their son, now 3, calls all three of them by name and knows exactly which house he'll be sleeping at each night. "He has three parents who genuinely like each other. That's the whole story."
